We collect information you provide directly when you contact us, request a quote, or engage our services. This may include your name, email address, phone number, country of residence, business details, and identity or company documents necessary to prepare and submit your formation, tax, or banking applications. We also collect limited technical data (such as IP address and pages visited) through standard website analytics and advertising tools.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and deliver our services, to prepare and submit applications on your behalf to government registries and third-party institutions, to communicate with you about your matter, to process payments, and to comply with our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Sharing With Third Parties
To deliver our services we share necessary information with third parties such as registered-agent providers, government registries, financial institutions, and our professional partners (for example, a licensed accountant where tax services are engaged). These parties receive only the information needed to perform their role. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. Access to your documents and personal data is limited to Crosspoint personnel and trusted service providers who need it to deliver your service, and we require them to protect it and use it only for that purpose.
How to Send Sensitive Documents
To complete a formation or banking application we may need identity or financial documents, such as a passport, proof of address, or banking paperwork. To keep these safe:
- Use only the secure upload method we provide. When a document is needed, we send you a private, secure upload link. Please submit sensitive documents only through that link.
- Do not send sensitive identity or financial documents over WhatsApp. WhatsApp is for general questions and coordination only. It is not an approved channel for passports, government IDs, proof of address, or banking documents.
- Do not send sensitive documents by ordinary email or social media. If anyone asks you to, contact us first at hello@crosspointformations.com to confirm.
Data Retention & Deletion
We keep personal and document data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, plus any period required by law. Identity and financial documents submitted for a specific application are retained only for as long as needed to complete that application and to meet applicable legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations, after which they are deleted or securely destroyed. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@crosspointformations.com; we will delete it unless we are legally required to keep it or need it to finish a service you requested, and we will tell you what, if anything, we must retain and why.
Where Your Information Is Processed
Crosspoint is based in Canada and works with providers and financial institutions in Canada, the United States, and elsewhere. Your information may therefore be processed or stored outside your country of residence, under the laws of those jurisdictions.
